Invisible points on a spectrum and the energy required for it to illuminate itself
Life is a spectrum and humans cannot see all individual points on it; all tallied however, and the moments cast a carbon copy overlay responsible for its very disappearance
I’ve been going on and on and on about community, both cosmic and actual, and their observable lacking for over a year now and the environmental pressures that shape an era in lieu of love and acceptance.
We are in one now. A very low environmental pressure.
Not at all unlike a vacuum.
And an era.
Not at all unlike a beginning, and an end.
Last Wednesday, August 21st, on my evening stroll around downtown Albuquerque, a little-known and under-appreciated low pressure front moved through the region and in that moment, at that very moment, regardless of public opinion or rule, the extreme heat of summer here in the high desert had been ushered into history.
The next morning I took my iced Americano in the natural elements of the bosque in considerably cooler and way more inviting temperatures and vibrations. My soul in harmony with its seasonal presence.
For one moment in time on the cusp of a Virgo morning, I was at peace in nature on the Rio Grande and the bosque of life it nurtures.
In the never-ending cycle of expansion and infilling, that low pressure front also signaled the end of downtown Albuquerque as we knew it. For years, the city has been bleeding out; expanding and incorporating other residential communities while thinning human resources (labor force, public health, transportation) reached the limits of its expansion.
Once the high pressure of rapid expansion reaches a magical point, the nucleus of the town, long since vacated of life, density, and upkeep, becomes a magnetic energy source for unwanted residence. The unwanted residents don’t know they are unwanted; they simply followed the pull (force created by a vacuum) and found plenty of abandoned buildings and alleys for shelter, food, and vice. Expansion powers instinctively know that any occupants (energy) within the pit of an entity (town) could become far more powerful than the thinned expansion and will often work to control the pit.
They start by controlling access to it.
The unwanted residents subsequently become a new resistance for the expansion power simply by their visible influx. Thinned expanders then look for external assistance (gov) to rid the intruders who have unsuspectingly taken up the advantageous position within the pit; the nucleus of a city. Indifferent to most all human life, the expansion force failed to consider the Red Queen at play in New Mexico and its surrounding environmental pressures (the world) in lieu of love and acceptance.
The government is derived from expansion powers and understands global occupation very well. The expansion powers are less organized, less caring, and less forgiving but make up a bulk of the mass. Together they are labeled as western society (colonists; expansion experts). The only ones who didn’t get the memo were the ones sucked into the pit (everyone else) by the vacuum. They only feel the pressure induced by competing interests of both gov and expanders; the subtle icepicks to the ears and livelihoods of infillers, as they begrudgingly exit through an uninformed psychological choke point within the vessel of a malnourished cognition and often debilitating mental capacity. The result is severe traumatic suffering to a host organism prone to fatally defending its existence.
Once the pit presents itself as a dire vulnerability, both government and the expansion powers will vie for the breadcrumbs of activity and clout for responsibility, just before declaring victory in a self-induced problem, thus beginning the process all over again. Unseen points on a cyclical and seasonal spectrum of life.
Unhoused and unwanted residents will become agitated in ways foreign to their tribal routine, often not seen by the mass expanding public on the spectrum of violent individual tendencies. The general public cannot see points of human irritation on a spectrum in a malnourished mind who sleep on concrete sidewalks of progressive and industrial agitation disguised as progress. The public can only see the growing number of unwanted people (expansion power) in the pit; prior efforts to control its nuclear access failed.
We are in that psychological choke point now. Both in Albuquerque and the world around us.
What does the entire cosmos, including our very own Milky Way and Solar System, the earth, the human race, every culture on the planet, societies, and civilizations have in common?
It’s all energy; expansion, then infill.
Without expansion, there is no infill.
The human race, once the formidable expanding power, is now acting as its own proxy Red Queen of evolution: it has become the pit, the expansion, and the infill of its own nucleus.
What is the word for no expansion and no infill?
Doesn’t exist.
But the Red Queen certainly does.
